The New, Redesigned Nissan Sentra Has Been Unveiled

Nissan isn’t holding anything back for the 2016 model year. The automaker recently unveiled the new Nissan Sentra, which has had a facelift similar to the Altima and Maxima. With this news, we have another highly-anticipated vehicle coming our way for the new model year and it looks fantastic. The front fascia has been updated similar to the other two sedans with a bold grille and signature boomerang shaped LED headlight accents. There is also an updated rear fascia, reworked hood, updated taillights, and available 17-inch wheels. The interior has updated seat fabrics and a new steering wheel and shift knob, along with smaller updates to the center console.

So when can we get our hands on the new Sentra? Turns out, the 2016 Nissan Sentra release date is even closer than we would have thought. The redesigned Sentra is scheduled to go on sale in late December, so we should be seeing it in about a month! This is great news for anyone in the market for a modern, up-to-date compact sedan. 2016 Nissan Sentra Specifications and Features
The 2016 Nissan Sentra is truly the best model yet. Trim levels include the Sentra S 6MT, S Xtronic, FE+ S, SV, SR, and SL. Every trim will be powered by a highly efficient 1.8-liter, 4-cylinder engine. Most trim levels will be fitted with a Xtronic CVT, but the S trim also offers a 6-speed manual transmission. For the SV trim and above, the Advanced Drive Assist Display will now be standard. The Sentra also now has driver assistance systems available for higher trim levels, including Intelligent Cruise Control, Forward Emergency Braking, Blind Sport Warning, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
Other available features include a power driver’s seat with power lumbar, Siri Eyes Free Voice Recognition, Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control, a Bose Premium audio system, Nissan Intelligent Key, the Rearview Monitor, and much more.
