The 2016 Nissan Sentra is probably one of the most highly-anticipated vehicles right now. The model’s redesign is a hot topic throughout the automotive industry, and rightly so. The Sentra’s new styling is actually very similar to the newly redesigned 2016 Altima and 2016 Maxima, offering a more aerodynamic body shape and sporty, bold accents. Of course, this new design is not the only way that the new Sentra is different than it’s previous model. Let’s take a look at the 2015 Nissan Sentra vs 2015 Nissan Sentra to get an idea of how the newest model compares to the 2015 version. The chart below details some of the main specifications as well as some key features of the Sentra.

As you can see, the new Sentra has not only been redesigned for 2016, but it also has some new technology that you won’t normally find in a compact sedan, like driver assistance features. We’re happy to see the impressive performance specs of the 2015 model remain the same for the 2016 version, meaning Nissan knows not to fix what isn’t broken. The only other difference between the 2015 and 2016 models is the starting MSRP. As we see with virtually every new edition of a vehicle, the 2016 model has just a slightly higher MSRP.
Overall, the 2016 Nissan Sentra offers some significant improvements over last year’s model while bringing back some of the great aspects we saw in the 2015 version.
