Because summer schedules are busy, not all of these 2016 Father’s Day events in Glendale Heights, IL fall right on Dad’s Day, so hopefully you’ll be able to find the time to do something special for him or all together as family.
Cruze and Cue
When: Friday June 10th
Where: 1230 E. Golf Rd. Schaumburg
If your dad is a fan of the classics, this will be a great night to come and peruse a variety of makes and models present from all different driving generations. No entry fee is necessary and everyone is welcome. There even will be free food and soft drinks as well as a 50/50 raffle, trophies, and music playing.
Lombard Ale Fest
When: Saturday June 11th 1-5PM
Where: 20 E Jefferson Ave Ste 23, Naperville
Just a week away is the third annual Lombard American Craft Ale Fest. Come out and enjoy the live music as you are able to choose from 80 unique beers from around the country. Some of Chicagoland’s favorite food trucks will also be present, serving up local favorites. Fingers crossed for good weather!
17th Annual Charity Golf Classic
When: Friday June 17th
Where: 1550 President Street, Glendale Heights IL
Enjoy a full day of golf, food, and fun. The morning begins with a continental breakfast while the shotgun golf outing begins at 9:00am. There will be hot dogs and snacks at the turn that should hold you over until 3:00pm when the BBQ, raffles, and auctions begin.
Superhero Dash n’ Splash
Where: 411 S Maple, Mount Prospect
When: Saturday June 18th
For the active dads always on the go, be sure to sign up for the Mt. Prospect Park District’s Superhero Dash n’ Splash 5K run and walk. Dress like a superhero and race to win or just participate with the family to have fun, either way, at the end you’ll be able to celebrate the end of the race by splashing into a giant surf wave pool.

Of course, the BEST Father’s Day gift that you could give dad is a shiny new Nissan, like the entirely redesigned Maxima…but if that’s not in the budget maybe you’d want to consider picking up vehicle accessories, parts, or service items if he’s a hands on type of guy. If not, might be a nice idea to run his car through the car wash and have it all tuned up and taken care of.
