Where to find Pokemon around Chicago suburbs
Welp. There’s no more arguing over which is better, Red or Blue, Silver or Gold, Ruby or Sapphire. Because what’s better than playing Pokemon on your GameBoy Color and trying to dupe neighborhood kids into trading you a holographic Charizard for towering stack of Energy cards? Playing it on your smartphone and catching them around town of course.
Pokemon Go has practically taken over the world, and the only way that it could get better for many “trainers” is if the Pokemon were actually real. Since you’ve gotta catch ‘em all somehow, we’re letting you know where to find Pokemon in the Chicago suburbs.

And since you are reliving your childhood, we briefly have to be the parents and remind you not to try and catch Pokemon while driving and to please be aware of your surroundings so that you do not get sat on by a Snorlax or hit by a bus.
Seward Park: Parks are home to a large variety of Pokemon, and while you’re here, there are about five additional Pokestops around W Division St. and Orleans St.
Wicker Park: Four Pokestops have been noticed here, two of which are a few blocks away off of Milwaukee Ave.
Lake View High School: W. Irving Park Rd is absolutely crawling with Pokemon. There are three Pokestops right by Lake View High School including the “Wave Tile Mural” and “LVHS Totem Poles.” Further down the road the Orange Garden restaurant and Fast Super Burrito have been marked as Pokestops as well.
Lake View YMC: A few Pokestops have been pinpointed around Lake View YMCA. Other nearby businesses that have also been tagged include: Dinkel’s, Wishbone, Windmill Sculpture on N. Ashland Ave, and the East Gross Park
Horner Park: If you’re in the area, be sure to check out the following spots at Horner Park: the “Popcorn Man Mural,” Iglesia Del Nazareth Emanuel, Horner Nature Garden, and Montrose Avenue Bridge. If you stay on Montrose Ave, there are two more stops, one at the “Arch of Eleven Faces” and the Iglesia Del Dios.”
While traveling around the state, we hope that these stops will help on your conquest to become a Pokemon master. In addition to looking for rare and common Pokemon, we would like to welcome you to the Glendale Heights area.
