With all of the hubbub over the 2017 Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition, it’s a bit easy to overlook the standard model. Sure, we all wish we could take on the galaxy in a model fit for the job, but with such limited numbers it only makes sense to look at the options inspired by our everyday adventures. As it turns out, there’s just as much to be excited about even without unique themed badging, as the 2017 Nissan Rogue is already being applauded for its wide range of technology options and impressive standard features.
Standard features for the 2017 Nissan Rogue
We already talked a bit about what the changes are for this model year, but it’s difficult to address just how much fun this vehicle is in the landscape of
available crossover options. Aside from the limited edition model, there are three trims for the Rogue: S, SV and SL. Standard technology features for the S include:
- Advanced Drive-Assist Display
- Hands-free texting
- Bluetooth
- Integrated Key with remote keyless entry
- 5-inch color audio system display
These features add up to a variety of things we consider necessities in the modern world, but it’s just the beginning. Optional upgrades include NissanConnect with navigation, a 7-inch touchscreen monitor with voice recognition, SiriusXM traffic, Siri Eyes Free, an Around View Monitor, dual-zone automatic temperature control, remote engine start and Bose premium audio. ‘

All this technology doesn’t even begin to touch on comfort and convenience options, like the top-of-the-line leather-appointed seats found in the SL trim. Basically, the model offers the perfect mix of features to make you feel like you’re living in the lap of luxury from the base trim to the top option.
So which tech gets the biggest nod? The optional navigation system earns praise for clear direction in the information gauge, while the blind spot monitor has a yellow indicator inside the vehicle that’s easier to see than indicators featured on side mirrors.
