The weather has been unseasonably warm so far this winter, but that is sure to change soon. Once that cold weather hits, it’s going to be another season of dreading going outside to warm up the car. Let’s face it, no one likes that part. Luckily if you have the right vehicle, staring your car in the cold isn’t actually so bad. Cars equipped with a remote start system make it much easier to warm up your car, allowing you to do so without going outside. Once you do brave the cold, your car should be plenty warm and comfortable when you get inside. There are actually quite a few Nissan models that have a remote start system, giving you a few different choices if this is one of the main features you’re looking for in a new car. Nissan Altima
The Nissan Altima is a pretty premium vehicle, so it’s no surprise Nissan’s mid-sized sedan has a remote starting system available on it’s higher trim levels. Those looking for a vehicle to start without going outside will find the remote start system on the Altima 2.5 SV, 2.5 SL, and 3.5 SL trim levels.
Nissan Maxima
Nissan’s sport sedan, the Maxima, is stacked with incredible features throughout its trim lineup like NissanConnect with Navigation, LED daytime running lights and taillights, and a leather wrapped steering wheel. Remote start is another feature that comes standard on every trim level which includes the S, SV, SL, SR, and Platinum trims.
Nissan Murano
The Nissan Murano is Nissan’s premium crossover SUV, created for a more comfortable and more social in-vehicle atmosphere. This means the Murano is stacked with incredible features, one of which is a remote starting system. The Murano, like the Maxima, has the system standard on every trim level, which includes the S, SV, SL, and Platinum trims.
Nissan Pathfinder
If you’re looking for an SUV that’s larger than the Murano, but still has a variety of high-end amenities, the Nissan Pathfinder is the way to go. The Pathfinder also has the remote start system available, which is found on most trim levels. Remote start is standard on the Pathfinder SV, SL, SL Tech, SL Premium, and Platinum trim levels.
Nissan Leaf
Technically the Nissan Leaf doesn’t have a remote starter per say, but it does have a remote connection to the vehicle which lets you control certain aspects of it without being in the vehicle. The driver can use this remote connection to start charging the vehicle and to activate the heating and air conditioning systems. This feature is available on the Leaf SV and SL trim levels.
