More standard safety features are offered in the 2021 Nissan Sentra

The 2021 Nissan Sentra will now offer a comprehensive suite of intelligent connectivity technologies and has added more standard safety features. Keep reading to learn more about the 2021 Nissan Sentra safety features.
Nissan Safety Shield® 360
The Nissan Safety Shield® 360 system will now be standard on all 2021 Nissan Sentra trim levels. Features in this safety system include Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, High Beam Assist and Rear Automatic Braking.
Other 2021 Nissan Sentra safety features
To keep everyone safe no matter what happens, there are 10 supplemental airbags. Other safety features include Intelligent Driver Alertness and Rear Door Alert. The Rear Door Alert feature makes the driver aware that the door was open and closed prior to the trip. This way if someone may have forgotten a precious item in the back, they will be reminded. The Intelligent Driver Alertness feature informs the driver of the potential lack of attention to the road.

The new-generation of Sentra is already winning awards. Some of these awards include WardsAuto’s 10 Best Interiors for 2020WardsAuto, J.D. Power 2020 Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) StudySM, scoring 42 points above segment average and Autotrader’s “Best New Cars of 2020” and “10 Best Cars for Recent College graduates.”
