Why does the 2017 Nissan Juke require premium fuel?
Gas prices are always an issue, but it’s especially so when the costs go up. Even more so if your vehicle requires premium fuel. If you’ve found yourself behind the wheel of the 2017 Nissan Juke, there are likely plenty of reasons you like the model, including high-end features and a unique design. The fact that it requires premium? Unlikely to be one of the top features you list when showing it off. Rather, you’re probably here wondering why your vehicle needs to use premium in the first place. (more…)

ProPILOT Park Ryokan Twitter contest
Self-driving cars are expected. Self-driving slippers? Maybe not so much. It’s more for fun than for any practical purpose, but Nissan has put its self-driving technology into slippers, tables and even floor cushions to show the usefulness of the technology. Basically, some of the furniture and the slippers have designated spots where they belong and can return when not in use. You’ll see what we’re talking about in this video. (more…)

Nissan Solar Energy for the House
You might be surprised to find that solar technology began development as early as the 1860s. That’s not to say that the technology was ready for use, but still. That’s more than a century of development. By now, you’d think every house would have a row of solar panels on the rooftop. It’s 2018, and this still isn’t the case. Perhaps if they were more widely available and affordable, it could happen soon. Which is why we’re excited that Nissan is throwing its technological hat into the ring to create Nissan Energy Solar, which will be a new division of the company that sells solar panels and energy storage packs for the house. Best Sports Bars in Glendale Heights IL
Right now, the teams that will be playing in the Super Bowl are still up in the air. If you’re one to root for the local team, it hardly matters what the outcome is because ours is out of the running. Which doesn’t mean you won’t watch on February 4. It just means that location is everything for those sweet, sweet commercials. Not to mention, it’s the biggest game of the year even if you don’t care much about the outcome. So what are some of the best sports bars in the Glendale Heights IL area? These are just some of our opinions. (more…)

Nissan Xmotion Concept at North American International Auto Show 2018
It isn’t entirely certain what future vehicles will look like. Back in the 80s, you can assume motorists certainly wouldn’t have expected the styles we see today. Just look at a model like the Nissan Maxima, and you can see it is almost entirely unrecognizable from the first generation. One thing is different now, and that’s the fact that we know we are on the cusp of a big change. For this reason, our latest concept vehicles are all centered on the idea of autonomous and fully-electric cars. The Nissan Xmotion Concept, an SUV that mixes an artistic design with futuristic concepts, is no different. The latest concept vehicle was just shown at the 2018 North American International Auto Show, sometimes referred to as the Detroit Auto Show. Here are the highlights. (more…)

What is Nissan Brain-to-Vehicle technology?
What does the future of the automotive world look like? If auto shows have anything to tell us, it’s all electric vehicle concepts and (hopefully) autonomous driving. One thing we haven’t been expecting is more research into what Nissan is calling Brain-to-Vehicle technology (B2V). Essentially, tracking brain activity from driver data to “teach” vehicles how people react to different driving situations. What sort of value could this technology offer? (more…)

When will Nissan bring back the Xterra off-road SUV?
It was just over two years ago that we made a sad announcement: The Nissan Xterra was discontinued after the 2015 model year. Between the Pathfinder, Rogue and Murano, it’s not that Nissan doesn’t have plenty of great SUVs on the market, but none that are made for off-roading. Lately, the rumor mill has been churning about a possible re-release of the Xterra. When will Nissan bring back their coveted off-road SUV? There doesn’t seem to be confirmation at this time. (more…)
