Third-generation Nissan Frontier announced

It used to be that vehicles would go years and years between new generations and refreshes, simply because it’s an expensive undertaking for an automaker. These days, we expect to see a refresh after two or three years, and a complete redesign after five or six. Which is what makes the Nissan Frontier so odd. The current model is in its second generation, which started in 2005. That’s right, 12 years ago. Other markets, where the model is known as the Navara, saw an update in 2014.
