How much does the 2018 Nissan Versa cost?
It seems like just a few short years ago when you could easily find a compact sedan from any automaker for less than $15,000. Now, everything is tilting upwards into the $20k range. It’s quite the jump, and not one that college students, commuters or those with a tight budget want to make. Nissan has kept things practical for many with its Nissan Versa sedan, which is a subcompact car that can be bought new for a price that is similar to the sticker you see in the used inventory. How long has Nissan been making electric cars?
For many drivers, it feels like electric cars are a fairly new development, and still not quite as practical as gasoline models. We expect range to increase in 2018, and charging times continue to improve, but when it comes time for a road trip, the models aren’t quite as competitive. What you may be surprised to learn is that the 2018 Nissan Leaf is 70 years in the making, as that’s how long it has been since Nissan first developed an EV.
