2017.5 Nissan Rogue vs 2017 Nissan Rogue features
They say patience is a virtue, but when it comes to offering all the latest features for consumers, Nissan seems to lack quality. We say this because of the automaker’s penchant for offering mid-year upgrades in the form of 2017.5 model years. Take a look and you’ll find the new 2017.5 Nissan Rogue isn’t the only model in the lineup to have a half-way option between last year and the upcoming 2018. The 2017.5 Nissan Murano, another SUV in the lineup, also received upgrades. So what’s the difference between the 2017.5 Nissan Rogue and the 2017 Nissan Rogue? They may look the same, but you’ll want to take a peek at the features. (more…)

Is ProPilot in the Nissan Leaf self-driving?

The model will have the option of the ProPilot feature, which we previously noted is now available in two models for consumers in Japan. There does seem to be some confusion on whether ProPilot is entirely self-driving or not, so let’s dig into it. (more…)

“German-engineering” is a popular phrase, but for a long time it’s been Japanese engineers that take the reins when it comes to offering all the latest and most impressive new features. The future of mobility seems to hinge on electric vehicle and autonomous driving, and Nissan is already making a go at it by offering not one, but two vehicles for sale with semi-autonomous driving. Which 2018 Nissan models will have automatic emergency braking?
Driver distraction remains at an all-time high, and is the primary culprit behind devastating accidents. In a busy world, it’s not as easy as it used to be to stay focused while rolling along at high speeds in a two-ton machine. Which is a scary thought for most of us when we consider what other drivers might be doing behind the wheel. One feature that combats our tendency toward inattentiveness is automatic emergency braking, which provides audible and visual alerts when a frontal collision seems likely. If a driver doesn’t press the brakes, your car will do it for you, preventing a collision or mitigating damage. For 2018, this feature will be standard for many 2018 Nissan models. But which ones?
