We live in a constantly connected world. So much so that many employers find themselves blocking social media sites just to ensure employees aren’t distracted. If you shouldn’t be updating your status at work, you shouldn’t be updating it while you drive. You also shouldn’t be texting friends or family, even if it’s just to say you’ll be right there. Distracted driving has become a top cause for automotive accidents in recent years. We just can’t seem to help ourselves. So Nissan is stepping up with the Nissan Juke Signal Shield Prototype, which acts as a Faraday Cage to block cellphone signals. (more…)

Garnering a lot of excitement with the young at heart, the 2017 Rogue Sport launches into Nissan dealers nationwide on May, 11th 2017. Similar to Nissan’s best-selling Rogue, the Rogue Sport delivers on design, utility, and technology. The compact SUV differs most from the Rogue in its size. It is large enough to comfortably seat five passengers, but not so large that it feels hard to maneuver. With 22.9 cubic feet of cargo space, and 61.1 cubic feet of space with the second-row seats folded down, its small stature still provides ample space for anything you need. Everyone knows that Nissan specializes in new cars, but as a big company, it’s also important to give back to the community. Anyone who has been suddenly without a home knows that it can be tough to go to a shelter, especially for families. Living out of a car isn’t just a stereotype of what life is like, but a reality for too many. Nissan wants to keep automobiles as a form of transportation and help those who are in a bad situation find affordable housing. It’s been more than a year since Nissan first revealed the Rogue Warrior, a snow-conquering version of the Nissan Rogue that featured a track system in place of tires. It was designed to prove to Canadian drivers that the Nissan Rogue can truly handle any weather, and it was both an entertaining and exciting display. But what about when your adventures extend a bit farther south than a frozen tundra? After all, many parts of Canada also have their lazy dog days of summer.
