It’s always a pain when the batteries in something die, you’ve already taken the batteries from the smoke detector and put them in the T.V. remote. Or even better yet, you recently bought something, but the AAA batteries of course aren’t included and all that you have are AAs.
Fortunately these aren’t problems that you’ll run into with an electric vehicle, but one of the biggest problems for years now has been battery life. Larger batteries increased the vehicle’s weight while quick-charging batteries couldn’t go the distance for enough drivers.
