It was just over two years ago that we made a sad announcement: The Nissan Xterra was discontinued after the 2015 model year. Between the Pathfinder, Rogue and Murano, it’s not that Nissan doesn’t have plenty of great SUVs on the market, but none that are made for off-roading. Lately, the rumor mill has been churning about a possible re-release of the Xterra. When will Nissan bring back their coveted off-road SUV? There doesn’t seem to be confirmation at this time. (more…)

Which Nissan Models Have All-Wheel Drive?
Monday, October 5th, 2015Now that fall is finally here, we know winter is also right around the corner. If you are one of the many people looking for a new car this year, you may want to consider a vehicle with all-wheel drive. Cars with all-wheel drive tend to handle better on bad roads, which we see a lot of during the winter. In fact, winter driving through snow and ice can be a lot less stressful when you are driving with all-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive. Both drivetrain options offer control over all four wheels. In fact, all-wheel drive actually just provides better handle in general, which is why we tend to see it on sports cars as well. Bidding Farewell to the Nissan Xterra

Nissan has a wide-range great crossover vehicles and SUVs, but one of those vehicles has unfortunately seen its last year in the Nissan lineup. The Nissan Xterra is to be discontented after 2015 and the 2015 Nissan Xterra will be the last new model available to off-road car shoppers. Here at Glendale Nissan, we are big fans of the Xterra and we are sad to see it go. So we thought it would be a good time to say goodbye to one of our favorite off-road vehicles. (more…)
