Standing before us now is the 2017 model that has been refreshed and brings a number of new things to the table; an even more modern design, better utility, and a wider offering of Nissan Safety Shield technologies.

2017 Nissan Rogue Exterior Design Changes
The goal of the updates and changes made to the exterior of the Rogue was to help make it look and feel more upscale.
- New front fascia to fit the Nissan V-Motion grille with fog lamps and revised headlights with LED signature Daytime Running Lights
- New rear bumper with revised combination lamps and LED boomerang taillights
- New chrome-trim side door moldings
- 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels available to SL models
2017 Nissan Rogue Interior Design Changes
Improvements to the Nissan Rogue we’re meant to make it more comfortable and convenient while giving it a premium look.
- New D-shaped steering wheel and leather-booted sport-mode shifter
- Available heated steering wheel, memory for driver’s seats, and remote engine start
- New door and instrument panel finishers, revised center console
- Zero Gravity front bucket seats; driver seat with 6-way power adjustability
2017 Nissan Rogue: Advanced Safety and Security Features
The 2016 Nissan Rogue currently can be equipped with the following crash prevention safety systems: Blind Spot Warning, Forward Emergency Braking, and Moving Object Detection.
As for the 2017 Nissan Rogue, it will be increasing its offerings to also include:
- Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert
- Lane Departure Warning and Lane Departure Prevention
- Intelligent Cruise Control
- Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection
2017 Nissan Rogue Powertrain Options
The Nissan Rogue officially is available with two powertrains; its standard 2.5L 4-cylinder engine as well as a brand new gasoline-electric hybrid.

Taking the cue from its brother the Murano Hybrid which was just introduced a few months ago, the Nissan Rogue Hybrid will be powered by its 2.0L engine that is paired with a 30kW electric motor. The projected efficiency rating is 33 city mpg and 35 hwy mpg. (All-wheel drive models barely dip below this and are said to earn 31 city and 34 hwy mpg.
