How to make an old vehicle look new

Unless you plan on leasing a vehicle, getting a new vehicle every two years can be expensive and tricky business. Chances are you’ll be driving your vehicle for a couple of years and over the course of those days, weeks, years, and miles it will accumulate general wear and tear, eventually becoming outdated.
Which is better? Buy vs Lease?
Fortunately there are a variety of ways to help spruce your vehicle up a bit whether you plan on making the renovations yourself or stopping by a body shop for some help, below are a few cheap ways to make your car look new.
Fresh and clean: If you don’t feel like cleaning your car out yourself, not to worry, there always is the option of taking it somewhere to be detailed. A shiny, freshly waxed exterior might make the vehicle look nice, but a clean (stain, dust, dirt, grime, food, and junk free) interior will make a night and day difference.
Touch-up: Sometimes that stray shopping cart can’t be stopped and that door ding couldn’t be prevented. A little bit of touch up paint (used sparingly) can help to hide small blemishes while some dents can in fact be taken out with a plunger. For more serious dings and dents, a service team would be able to help reverse the damage.
Seat covers: Some stains just aren’t coming out no matter how many times you shampoo and condition the fabric. If that’s the case, a seat cover can be a great way to hide them while giving the cabin a different look and feel.
How to improve an old vehicle
Depending on how extensive and how much money you have to spend across the board on repairs and upgrades, these improvements will vary.
New sound system: Eventually the factory speakers in an older vehicle are going to sound weak or distant. Replacing the speakers or getting an entirely new sound system can radically change the quality of your drive, especially if you’re one to listen to the radio everywhere you go.
New tires and wheels: If your current set of tires are worn down and balding, new tires will greatly improve the quality of your ride and safety. New wheels will give the vehicle a different look. (Nissan offers a variety of options that can help alter a vehicle’s personality in a number of ways.)

New exterior: To really alter the exterior of your vehicle, painting it a brand new color would certainly do the trick. This is a more dramatic change that is going to cost quite a bit, but depending on the way that you look at it, it’s thousands less than if you were to purchase a new vehicle.
