Nissan ProPILOT Assist Continues Expansion to New Vehicle

In recent years, the technologies that have been implemented in vehicles has grown exponentially. As each manufacturer has their own systems and suites of technologies, Nissan’s innovative ProPILOT Assist feature has been sought after by many drivers. What is Nissan ProPILOT Assist?
The Nissan ProPILOT Assist is a semi-autonomous driving system was initially introduced to the Japanese market in 2016 with its implementation into the Nissan Serena minivan. However, since the system was such a hit, Nissan quickly expanded it all across the globe to their electric LEAF model, the European Qashqai, the Japanese X-Trail and the U.S. Rogue. Even the 2019 Nissan Altima will also be including the exciting technology.

Nissan doesn’t plan to stop there though, as the manufacturer will be equipping many more future vehicles with ProPILOT Assist. In fact, Nissan is hoping to expand the system to 20 models and 20 markets by the end of 2022 as a part of their Nissan M.O.V.E. initiative.
Recently, the manufacturer announced that throughout the expansion of ProPILOT Assist, the Nissan Rogue Sport will be receiving the technology beginning in late 2018. In fact, the Nissan Rogue, including the Rogue Sport, is actually the best-selling Nissan vehicle in the U.S.
