With that bad joke out of the way, we’ll try to keep the bunny puns to a minimum and hop right into it. Easter 2016 is right around the corner; just a few weeks away and in case it snuck up on you, we have a compiled a list of local Easter egg hunts and events near Glendale Heights, IL.

Bunny Rock Chicago 5K and Egg Hunt—Saturday, March 26—Chicago—Website
Whether you are as quick as the hare or as slow and steady as the tortoise, if you enjoy enjoy running or could use some fun motivation, this is a great and festive run to participate in. All 5K race participants will be given the following fun freebies: bunny ears, shades, dri-fit t-shirt, and 2016 finisher medal. There also is plenty of fun for non-participants including a kids petting zoo and a huge egg hunt with more than 3,000 candy-filled eggs.
Wolff’s Flea Markets Easter Bunny & Egg Hunt—Sunday, March 20—Palatine—Website
While Wolff’s Flea Market is celebrating its 25th anniversary of existence this year, this will also be the 6th annual Easter egg hunt. There will be a variety fun taking place including face painting, magic tricks, and of course an Easter egg hunt as well as the chance to meet the Easter Bunny! All kids will receive a small gift from the Easter Bunny and be able to make crafts to take home with them.
Easter Eggstravaganza—Saturday, March 19—Bensenville-Website
Fingers and paws crossed for nice weather, because this year marks the 4th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Varble Park. Dozens of eggs will be hidden by the Easter Bunny who will also begin the hunt! Don’t forget to bring your basket because each child is allowed to collect up to 10 eggs. Out of all the eggs, there will be three special ones that have toys in them. After the egg hunt, children will be able to take their picture with the Easter Bunny and play outdoor games such as: ring toss, buckets, a prize wheel, and more.
Easter Egg Stravaganza—Saturday, March 26—Bartlett-Website
This is a free event that is open to kids ages 0-12. Egg hunts will be separated by ages, but make sure that you bring your own basket no matter how old you are. There also will be a number of features including music, face painting, bounce houses, and more!
