The leaves are falling and it’s starting to bit a little bit cooler outside as fall is finally here. While many of us are already preparing our stomachs for Thanksgiving dinner, some are eating the dessert first with their upcoming Halloween candy. However, Halloween is much more than just candy, which is why we wanted to highlight some of the haunted Halloween 2018 tours in Chicago, IL.
Haunted History Tours at Lincoln Park Zoo
Taking place weekly throughout October on the 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd or 30th is the Haunted History Tours at Lincoln Park Zoo. The tour will be guided by Adam Selzer, who is an author, podcaster and also the host of the Mysterious Chicago Tours. The tour will last approximately 75-90 minutes, as the tour will highlight the zoo’s roots and scary stories. The tours are open to people aged 16 and older and tickets will cost $30.
The Resurrection Mary Haunted Pub Crawl
With so many fun things to do in the city, people often like to enjoy their nights with a few drinks. Perfect for them is The Resurrection Mary Haunted Pub Crawl. This pub crawl will take you back to Chicago’s Jazz Age of the 30’s and teach you about the most famous ghosts of Chicago, including going to where the “original” Mary passed away, as well as through Chicago’s other most haunted places. Tickets for this pub crawl will cost $45.

Seadog Cruises Haunted River Tours
Many people near Chicago like spending time near the water. This still works well for Halloween, as the Seadog Cruises Haunted River Tours will tell spooky tales of the history of Chicago as you travel along the Chicago River. These tours are open Friday-Sunday throughout October and will cost $36.95 for adults and $19.95 for children and will take place at Navy Pier.
