You may be wondering how exactly the Intelligent Key works. There are antennae in both the Intelligent Key and car which transmit signals back and forth. Any signal sent to the car will go through the car’s tuner to make the change as requested by the Key. Anytime you press a button on the Intelligent Key, the signal is sent to the car and then goes to the tuner which will unlock the doors or handle any other requests from the Key. When starting the car, if you press the start button, the car sends a signal to the Intelligent Key which then sends a signal back to the car confirming the key is indeed within the radius to start the car.
Between the detection range accuracy and coded signals, the system is incredibly accurate at telling where the key is and identifying the exact key for the car. This type of technology and the conversation between Key and car is what makes the operation so easy.
