Benefits of Nissan Intuitive AWD

It’s not always smooth sailing, that much we all know, especially driving in the Midwest. Doesn’t it always seem like construction follows you around everywhere you go while potholes are practically unavoidable?
When the going gets tough, be it the road before you or inclement weather, Nissan’s all-wheel drive system can make a drastic difference when it comes to handling and confidence.
Curious about how Nissan intuitive all-wheel drive works? We’d love to tell you more!
How the intuitive AWD system works:
Take the Nissan Rogue, Murano, or Pathfinder for example; each one of these SUVs is a front wheel drive vehicle. Each one earns a reasonable fuel economy rating because energy isn’t being wasted due to the intuitive all-wheel drive system.
Without you having to press a single button or even flip a switch, Nissan’s system is able to sense when the wheels are beginning to slip and need to regain more traction. For example, when you pull away from a dead stop at a red light and the ground is slippery or when you’re taking a turn on a slick corner and feel the tires begin to skid, these are both scenarios when the all-wheel drive would immediately kick in. By distributing the torque across each of the tires, your Nissan is able to get back on track and better grip the ground.
