Official U.S. Pricing for the 2018 Versa announced
By Product Expert | Posted in Nissan Versa on Friday, August 18th, 2017 at 4:16 pmHow much does the 2018 Nissan Versa cost?
It seems like just a few short years ago when you could easily find a compact sedan from any automaker for less than $15,000. Now, everything is tilting upwards into the $20k range. It’s quite the jump, and not one that college students, commuters or those with a tight budget want to make. Nissan has kept things practical for many with its Nissan Versa sedan, which is a subcompact car that can be bought new for a price that is similar to the sticker you see in the used inventory. Will our favorite automaker keep things the same? Today we’re looking at how much the 2018 Nissan Versa will cost as well as any new features.
2018 Nissan Versa available with a starting MSRP of $11,990
When we say affordable, we mean it. You’ll hardly find pre-owned vehicles for as little as $11,990, and yet the base trim level of the 2018 Nissan Versa sedan remains low-cost and high in value. You’ll note that the price is the exact same as it is for 2017, and for 2016. The model underwent a complete redesign back in 2012, with minor refreshes and new features since then. Many automakers will inflate prices, even without changes, year after year, but why?

This isn’t to say that there will be nothing new for the 2018 Nissan Versa. The model now has standard adjustable front headrests, map lamps and variable intermittent wipers, plus a Deep Blue Pearl color option. These changes may be minor, but for a simple, no-frills car, they add just a little something extra.
Under the hood, the 2018 Versa continues to offer the 109-horsepower 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine that can be paired with the standard 5-speed manual transmission or the available Xtronic CVT. The SV Special Edition Package will also continue its availability for 2018, adding on 15-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, fog lights, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, 5.0-inch color display audio, SiriusXM® Satellite Radio, Bluetooth®, Hands-free Text Messaging Assistant and a RearView Monitor for just an additional $500.
