Tips on how to pet-proof your vehicle 

One of the best ways to go on a road trip is by bringing along your furry friend. Before you let them leap in your vehicle, here are some tips to keep your vehicle clean.  

Prep your vehicle for your pet 

Before you dive into pet-proofing your vehicle, you will need to fully clean it out by vacuuming out dirt or other bits and pieces. This helps you give a blank slate to work with.  

Items you will need to pet-proof 

You will need to purchase a seat cover to keep your upholstery clean and hold any messes that may happen. To keep your windows clean from nose prints, cover them with a clear plastic wrap. This way you can still see out your window and once your trip is over, you can remove them. A good way to keep your vehicle smelling fresh is by using a few drops of essential oils.
