How to set up my phone in the 2020 Nissan Altima

Apple CarPlay
To connect your iPhone, you will need to plug it into the USB conection port which is located beneath the climate controls. Depending on your settings, the startup information screen with appear on the center display. Press “OK” and then “Yes” to use Apple CarPlay. Once your iPhone is connected, the Apple CarPlay home screen will appear. You also have the ability to use Siri from your 2020 Nissan Altima once Apple CarPlay has been set up.
Android Auto
Before you get to setting up your 2020 Nissan Altima with your Android phone, you will first need to download the Android Auto app from the Google Play store. Once it is on your phone, launch the app and accept the permissions to allow your phone to fully function on the in-vehicle system. To connect, plug in your Android phone through the USB connection port located under the climate controls. The startup infomration screen will appear on the center display. Tap “OK” to use Android Auto. Once the phone is connected, the Android Auto screen will apprear. Voice operation can be accessed as well.
