Who needs a snowmobile when there’s the Nissan 370Zki

We all remember when Nissan presented us with the Winter Warrior concepts, but isn’t an SUV just what you’d expect for an off-road concept meant to find traction in the snow? We have to admit we’re in love with the concept Nissan has promised to bring to the 2018 Chicago Auto Show: the Nissan 370Zki. OK, so it’s unlikely to see this concept ever go into production, since there aren’t many places that really need wheels exchanged for DOMINATOR tracks and front skis. But it sure is fun to look at.
Nissan Roadster Snowmobile
The 2018 Nissan 370Z is not the type of vehicle we’d typically think of as one to be modeled for off-road use. Which is why the 370Zk, pronounced “270 ski,” is so much fun. It’s not just the regular sports car we’re more likely to see in the Chicago are, but the roadster. This lends itself to a more snowmobile-like image since we all know snowmobiles likewise leave us open to the elements.

Except the 370Zki is no snowmobile once you dig deeper. It is still powered by a 332-horsepower engine, despite the skis and tracks. We don’t need to imagine how this would impact the thrills of going over slopes, as Nissan made this video to show us:
