Nissan is no stranger to working together with communities or other great companies and organizations. With partnerships with the NCAA and Habitat for Humanity, no partner is too big or too small as Nissan has recently helped with The Send It Foundation. Read on to learn the story of Nissan and The Send It Foundation.
What is The Send It Foundation?
IN the last year of his life before unfortunately losing his battle with cancer, Jamie Schou created the apparel brand Send It and the Send It Foundation, which is a non-profit company that provides outdoor adventures for those also battling cancer. This company stemmed from Schou’s love of skiing and the outdoors, as he and his 2006 Nissan TITAN helped build this organization.
Last year, Schou’s truck was in need of repairs, and Send It was unable to cover the costs of the necessary fixes. As part of the Nissan Calling All TITANs campaign, Nissan met with the organization and was able to help keep the truck on the road and remain a crucial part of The Send It Foundation.

So far, thanks to hard work and a little help from Nissan, The Send It Foundation has been able to complete 31 various programs and served over 150 people fighting cancer. Schou’s TITAN is still going strong, as it is working in the Truckee, California, mountains, continuing to haul surfboards, mountain bikes, skis, snowboards and more extreme sport necessities with the Send It team.
