The North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit is one of the biggest automotive events of the year. This show gives automakers like Nissan a chance to show off both upcoming models and concept vehicles that display possibilities for future models. When it comes to Nissan concepts at the 2016 North American International Auto Show, there were two extremely impressive vehicles we thought we’d discuss here. These vehicles are the Nissan Titan Warrior concept and the Nissan IDS concept.

The Titan Warrior is a more extreme version of the Titan XD, one that could easily beat out the Ford Raptor in a showdown. The IDS is an incredibly high-tech EV that allows drivers to be more connected to their vehicles than ever before. Below we’ve gone over these two models a little more in-depth for you. As always if you’d like to discuss any of these concepts or the current Nissan lineup, feel free to comment below or contact our sales team.
Nissan Titan Warrior Concept Details
We’re not sure Detroit was expecting such an awesome looking vehicle when they heard about the Nissan Titan Warrior concept’s unveiling, but that is just what they got. The Warrior is an extreme pickup concept that takes the Titan XD and turns it up to 11. The design is incredibly rugged with desert racing-inspired styling. Between the bold, slick grill, monster tires, and eye-catching accents, it’s hard to choose what our favorite part of the Titan Warrior concept is. All in all, this is one pickup truck that we hope will be put into production someday.
Nissan IDS Concept Details
As for Nissan’s other concept at NAIAS 2016, the Nissan IDS concept is the face of what we will most likely see in many vehicles within the next few decades. The IDS is essentially a smart EV that utilizes driver assistance technology and a superior artificial intelligence system to provide an autonomous driving option. The vehicle also has a mode that lets the driver take control as well. Either way, the IDS also has next level connectivity that creates a whole new relationship between the driver and the vehicle. The IDS is not only high-tech, but it also looks fantastic. We’d love to get behind the wheel of this one! If this is the future of automotive, count us in.
