When people start their car buying search, there are plenty of things to consider. Body style, performance, features and of course the cost of a new vehicle. What some drivers don’t think about; however, is the cost of owning a vehicle through repairs and maintenance after you leave the lot. Nissan drivers can rest assured knowing that the Nissan LEAF and Armada won Kelley Blue Book 5-Year Cost to Own Awards.
The Kelley Blue Book 5-Year Cost to Own Awards look at new vehicles and car brands that show the lowest projected ownership costs. The awards take into consideration vehicle depreciation, expected fuel costs, finance fees, insurance fee, maintenance and repairs, state fees and more that take place during the initial 5-year ownership period.
This week at the 2019 Chicago Auto Show, Kelley Blue Book presented their awards to various manufacturers attending the event, including Nissan with their electric LEAF model and Armada SUV. In fact, this marks the second year in a row for the all-electric Nissan, as well as the first year of the award for the Armada.
