What apps are available on NissanConnect?

Today’s car is all about convenience and the same can be said for our cell phones. Think back to just how basic each of these were just a few years ago compared to all of the gizmos and gadgets we now rely on each and every day. What can be done now, wasn’t even thought of before and that’s why we would like to tell you more about what NissanConnect can do as well as what apps are available on NissanConnect.
With NissanConnect, you can put down the phone and stay connected while still focused on the road.
How do you control NissanConnect?
There are two means of control when it comes to using NissanConnect:
- Voice: Simply press the talk button on your steering wheel and voice recognition will be activated. At this point, you will be able to give your Nissan simple commands such as to call an individual or locate a specific address.
- Touch: NissanConnect is clearly presented on a color touch screen on which you are able to merely touch the display and control what you want to do such as change the station, check your social media, or find new points of interest.

NissanConnect Security and Convenience
In the event of an emergency, know that Nissan will always have your back. The emergency response service is able to alert and send for help even if you may be unresponsive and in order to help keep your vehicle healthy and operating properly, you will be able to check on and stay up to date with vehicle maintenance and alerts.
Entertainment and Information
Don’t bother scanning through radio stations trying to find one that is commercial-free when you can enjoy all of the music, audiobooks, and movies you love in addition to staying current with news, sports, weather and stocks. There are a number of apps and internet radio stations that will be able to keep you occupied for hours at a time.
Navigation
Never worry about getting lost or not having some place to go. Your Nissan can be equipped with navigation as it turns the touchscreen on your dash into a giant map/gps. Use Google to help guide you to wherever your destination may be while turn-by-turn directions are available with both audio and visual cues.
