One of the strongest selling points for a new or used vehicle is going to be its fuel efficiency rating. Naturally, when you choose your next vehicle, you would expect it to be more efficient (unless you’re going for a stampede of more horsepower) than what you’re currently driving.
Over the course of a few years, the difference in a couple of city or highway miles per gallon can translate to hundreds of dollars being saved. And this brings us to our next point; what is Nissan Pure Drive?

Perhaps you’ve heard of it or perhaps you have not; but what it is, is the name of Nissan’s internal combustion engines that have reduced CO2 emissions. These vehicles within the Nissan lineup, and compared to other automakers, are going to be the most efficient and environmentally friendly.
What do Nissan Pure Drive cars offer?
Stop/Start Engines: Pure Driver vehicles feature advanced technology to help make them more efficient; they might include pieces of technology like Idling Stop. This is the name for Nissan’s start/stop engine which helps to cut down on the amount of fuel and energy being wasted when a vehicle is stopped for an extended length of time.
Eco Mode: Select Nissan vehicles have drive mode selectors and eco mode buttons. These will help to make your drive more economical without making it a complete bore.
CVT: Nissan’s continuously variable transmission is used to ensure that your vehicle is constantly in the proper gear in order to deliver the optimum blend of power and efficiency
Hybrids: Another way to improve performance and recover energy that typically would be lost is a hybrid system. Hybrids still are taking some time to catch on within the auto industry namely due to the higher price upfront.
