The rugged new 2023 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek Edition
Designed for customers looking for a higher level of fun and adventure, the 2023 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek was unveiled recently at the New York International Auto Show.
At the launch event, Nissan U.S. Marketing and Sales Senior VP Michael Colleran said that the 2022 Nissan Pathfinder was all about a “return to rugged” and “the 2023 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek takes that spirit even further.” And indeed, it does.
Offered as a four-wheel drive (4WD) option only, takes the “return to rugged” spirit of the Pathfinder lineup to a whole new level of capability with more power, an off-road-tuned suspension, increased ground clearance, and a new set of all-terrain tires.

What’s new in the 2023 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek?
The notable additions to the 2023 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek edition include:
- Off-road tuned suspension with 5-inch or 8-inch lift
- 18-inch bead lock-style wheels with all-terrain tires
- Tubular roof rack with up to 220-pound load capacity
- Exclusive front fascia with dark V-motion grille and mesh insert
- Rock Creek badging
- Exclusive leatherette + fabric seats with Rock Creek embroidery
- Orange contrast stitching on the seats, steering wheel, instrument panel, center console, and door panels
- Standard Intelligent Around View® Monitor with Off-Road Mode
The 2023 Pathfinder Rock Creek comes standard with a tow hitch receiver and harness and a maximum towing capacity of 6,000 pounds. You also get 2nd-row captain’s chairs and LED fog lights as standard equipment.
2023 Pathfinder Rock Creek Brings Improved Performance
In terms of performance, the 2023 Pathfinder Rock Creek offers increased available horsepower and torque over the standard 2022 Nissan Pathfinder. The Pathfinder Rock Creek puts out 295 horsepower, 11 horsepower more than the other grades, and 270 pound-feet of torque versus 259 over the standard grades when using premium fuel.
The new 2023 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek will be available in six mono-tone exterior color options and four two-tone options that complement the rugged exterior design. It goes on sale late summer of 2022.
