Dashcam footage is becoming more and more popular, from catching road accidents to taping adventures. There are plenty available on the market, but a camera made by a car company for a particular model is unheard of. Except Nissan is introducing it now with the JukeCam. What is the 360-degree Nissan JukeCam and where will it be available?
4K Nissan JukeCam 360-degree camera
The Nissan Juke is frequently thought of as a sort of city car, but Nissan wants shoppers to rethink the model and what it can mean for your outdoor adventures. One way to do this is be integrating a new camera that offers a full 360-degree view. This allows it to capture every mile of the road ahead, and also your reaction to it. In case your car karaoke attempts are ones you truly want to capture.
In order to flaunt the features of the JukeCam’s 4K quality, the automaker created footage of extreme pogo stick performers as they used the model to capture their Guinness World Record title.

As you can see, the camera can not only be attached to the dash of your Juke, but also to specially-designed helmets, allowing for that sort of “GoPro” purpose. The JukeCam has 64GB of internal memory is waterproof up to 1 ATM, shockproof, dustproof and has a battery life of 2 hours. The camera takes 2 hours to charge, and can hold about 3 hours of footage.
In addition to 360-degree video, it can take still shots and VR. And did we mention the 4K quality? So far the camera, which has a faceted appearance lane on a spiked throne, has only been announced for the European market. Considering we have the Juke here too, we’re hoping for more information on availability. Stay tuned here at the Glendale Nissan Blog for updates.
