Is Nissan reviving the IDS Concept car?
It was a full two years ago when we saw the Nissan IDS concept revealed at the 2016 North American International Auto Show. A lot has happened since then, and we won’t lie, we sort of forgot about it. The reason? Well, it seemed a little too futuristic to be true. Now, with competition to be the first automaker to produce an autonomous vehicle, it seems Nissan could be revving the IDS Concept car. Or at least, reminding us of it. (more…)

Where is the VIN located on Nissan?
Many of us can’t remember our license plat numbers without looking, so how can we know our VIN right off the top of our head? You won’t often use your Nissan VIN, but when you do you’ll want to know where it’s located. (more…)

2018 Nissan Leaf walkaround and overview
We understand where you’re coming from when it comes to the electric vehicle debate. It’s been eight years since the first Nissan Leaf went into production, and if you’re like us you’ve considered switching to an EV ever since. It’s just never quite the right time. Charging stations have still not built widely enough for it to see practical, and range is only just starting to rise to levels that seem practical, while keeping the starting MSRP at a reasonable level. To help you decide whether now is really the right time to pull the trigger on a 2018 Nissan Leaf, Nissan USA has released a series of walk around and feature overview videos. (more…)

Official 2019 Nissan Altima unveiling at NYIAS 2018
My, how time flies. It feels like only yesterday that the redesigned 2013 Nissan Altima arrived here at Glendale Nissan, but despite some facelifts and refreshes since then, the flagship compact car is starting to get long in the tooth. Which is why we’re particularly intrigued by the teaser trailer for the 2018 New York International Auto Show. It seems that the official unveiling of a sixth-generation 2019 Nissan Altima will come to us in March, when the 2018 NYIAS show happens. We don’t know much, but we have some speculation. (more…)

Nissan introduces factory suspension kit for Titan at 2018 Chicago Auto Show
Every year at virtually every auto show, we marvel at impressive vehicle mods and dream of doing similar things to our own vehicles. After the new car warranty expires, of course. The problem is, most manufacturers list modifications as something that will void your warranty, which is an important contract to keep intact in case something goes wrong. For Nissan Titan and Titan XD owners, Nissan introduced something important at the 2018 Chicago Auto Show: factory-authorized suspension. (more…)

Nissan 370Zki at 2018 Chicago Auto Show
We all remember when Nissan presented us with the Winter Warrior concepts, but isn’t an SUV just what you’d expect for an off-road concept meant to find traction in the snow? We have to admit we’re in love with the concept Nissan has promised to bring to the 2018 Chicago Auto Show: the Nissan 370Zki. OK, so it’s unlikely to see this concept ever go into production, since there aren’t many places that really need wheels exchanged for DOMINATOR tracks and front skis. But it sure is fun to look at. Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation AutoGravity App
There are fun aspects to buying a new car, like going on a test drive and learning about new features, and then there are not-so-fun aspects to shopping. One of them? Having to haggle with salespeople who are well-versed in the process. Even if you’re no slouch yourself, it can be time-consuming to negotiate and the back-and-forth likely doesn’t feel as if it’s worth it. This is where the new Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation comes in with its new partnership with the AutoGravity App. (more…)
