The Sentra is building on its award-winning debut by sharing muscular and sporty elements from models like the Maxima and GT-R while still having a refined interior that sets new standards. There have been a few enhancements with the 2021 Nissan Sentra, so let’s get into it.
New standard safety features
The 2021 Nissan Sentra will now offer the Nissan Safety Shield® 360 as a standard system. Some of the features in the Nissan Safety Shield® 360 include Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection and Rear Automatic Braking. Other safety features in the 2021 Nissan Sentra include 10 airbags, Rear Door Alert and Intelligent Driver Alertness.
Expressive design
Designed to turn heads, the 2021 Nissan Sentra has an expressive design with an aggressive stance and a powerful presence. Some exterior design features include a bold front fascia, V-motion grille, muscular sides and floating roof. The interior is comfortable with refined levels of attention to detail. The 2021 Nissan Sentra comes standard with cloth seats with available premium cloth, Prima-Tex™ leatherette or quilted leather-appointed seating.
Performance that stands out
Used exclusively for the Sentra, there are the lightweight 2.0-liter DOHC 16-valve inline 4-cylinder engine and front-wheel-drive platform. The 2021 Nissan Sentra outputs 149 horsepower and 146 pound-feet of torque. There are an EPA-estimated 39 highway and 29 city miles to the gallon.
