Building upon the continued success of the Rogue SUV model, the Rogue Sport is of course known for its exciting and sporty design, nimble handling and impressive performance. Offering a driving experience that’s incredibly fun, many drivers are excited to get behind the wheel of the new SUV. So, what’s new in the 2019 Nissan Rogue Sport?
Design of the 2019 Nissan Rogue Sport
Of course, sharing the Rogue name, the Rogue Sport shares a lot of similarities with the standard Rogue but is smaller, sportier and more affordable of the two models. Powering the new SUV is a 2.0-liter DOHC 16-valve inline 4-cylinder engine, which is then paired with a new Xtronic transmission.
The new 2019 Nissan Rogue Sport also offers plenty of exciting and convenient technologies. For example, the new Rogue Sport offers the ProPILOT Assist feature. This makes driving easier for people as it reduces the input needed from the driver when it comes to accelerating, steering and braking. This feature is standard on the Rogue Sport SL model, as well as available with the SV trim.

Even though the new Rogue Sport is a sportier version of the Rogue, a lot of design focus went into making the Rogue Sport extremely safe. This is done in part thanks to the Nissan Safety Shield 360 technology in the new SUV. This suite of safety features includes Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Rear Automatic Braking, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and High Beam Assist.
