Why should I buy a Hybrid?

Automotive brands are seeing an uptick in demand for Hybrid vehicles. These vehicles use a combination of electricity and gasoline to move the vehicle. If you’re curious about some of the benefits of owning a hybrid vehicle, keep reading to learn more.
City driving
Most vehicle owners know driving in the city can wreak havoc on your gas mileage due to the constant stops. Hybrids have a feature called Stop and Go where the engine will shut off after it has been idle for a few moments. This feature helps save gas while the vehicle is stuck in traffic or at long red lights.
Dual motors
Hybrid vehicles have two engines – an electric motor and an internal combustible engine. The electric motor helps assist the engine while accelerating, passing or climbing a steep hill. Hybrid vehicles use regenerative braking which charges the electric motor when the driver brakes. The regenerative braking keeps the vehicle charged without having to plug it in like electric vehicles.
Fuel economy
When driving at consistent or lower speeds the electric motor often kicks in. This gives hybrid vehicles more fuel economy compared to non-hybrid vehicles. Along with the engine stop and electric mode, hybrid vehicles can go further for longer amounts of time without needing to fill up.
