As you can see for our comparison, we’ve focused on differences between the 2019 and 2018 Nissan Armada when it comes to standard features and technologies. That’s because, outside of those key differences, the two models are largely the same. The 2019 Nissan Armada carries the same engine as the 2018 Armada, a powerful 5.6-liter V8 with best-in-class 390 horsepower and 394 lb-ft of torque and has essentially the same design on the interior and exterior. Both can seat up to eight passengers and have the same large cargo space.
However, the 2019 Nissan Armada has a higher starting MSRP than the 2018 Nissan Armada. Why is that? Well, that’s because the 2019 Armada has numerous new standard features for drivers that weren’t standard in 2018. Most of them are safety or driver-assist technologies, like the Intelligent Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking and Intelligent Forward Collision Warning. In previous years, drivers had to pay thousands of dollars extra for feature packages with these technologies, but now they get it standard for just a few hundred dollars more on the 2019 Armada!
Another new standard technology on the 2019 Nissan Armada that we haven’t mentioned yet is the innovative Rear Door Alert system from Nissan. This technology was created to help drivers by reminding them when they place something in the back seat before beginning a trip but don’t take it out at the end of the trip. Never forget anything in your car again thanks to the 2019 Nissan Armada’s standard Rear Door Alert!
